Martha is a native of Lubbock, and has a studio of over 40 students.  She enjoys playing with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra and regional orchestras.  Ms. Perez has a Bachelor of Music in violin performance from Texas Tech University with All - Level Certification in Instrumental Secondary Music.  She was introduced to the Suzuki Method in 1987 at Texas Tech under Barbara Barber.  She has had over 15 years teaching experience in the Suzuki Method, and has received Suzuki training on Books 1 through book 6 and book 8.  Ms. Perez considers it a great joy to see students succeed and continue their music instruction, and a great satisfaction to see students become music/string teachers.
